During the UBISTeam BBA, students build their first professional and life experience around a real project, supported by real-world coaches and consultants.
Beyond the traditional school framework, our students develop their curiosity, autonomy, and reveal their aptitudes and ambitions.
What are the strong points of UBISTeam BBA ?
Your child will join a group of 10 to 14 Students maximum : a UBISTeam
Each semester at UBIS starts with a team building camp, in nature, mountain, hicking, … in order for students to:
- Live together
- Share challenges
- Push their limits and learn from group diversity
- Know each other outside the school system
- Appreciate their affinities, differences and complementarities
by affinity of 3 to 4 students, they will start a projet that means something to them and which they will be proud of:
- Create a Start-up or a business
- A project in fair trade
- A humanitarian or cultural mission
- Creating a festival or concert
- Organization of a trip or expedition
They will capitalize on their strengths and learn to identify their weaknesses in order to find the help they need.
They will learn all the subjects of a Bachelor’s degree in management, not to “know”, but to experiment … then … choose what pleases them most, deepen and develop a real expertise by demonstrating real achievements.
What about the theoretical teachings?
Throughout the year and in support of their project, we provide them with the necessary knowledge to obtain a diploma recognized and accredited and a Top Up, BA of Patten University .
Online theoretical course modules are delivered by Patten University with continuous validation of acquired knowledge.
Professional seminars (UBISTeam Seminars), facilitated by “coaches / consultants”, professionals in post, as well as by professors.
They accompany them in the application of theory to the concrete phases of their students’ group project, sharing their own experiences, and take them visit companies to plunge them into the professional realities

STUDENTS: UBISTeam BBA is a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Entrepreneurship in which you will build a life-long business network, share your knowledge and experience in groups, and learn from professionals.
During your three year Bachelor, your will not face passively our teachers and lecturers: you will set a first foot in your own project or business.

What will happen… with theory and practice ?
The UBISTeam Building Camps seminars (in the middle of nature, mountains, hiking, sailing …) reinforce the group’s cohesion and challenge you individually to surpass yourself by tapping into your resources to bring your singularity.
In this group that will be yours for a year, and in which you will:
- Identify your affinities within your UBISTeam.
- Find your complementarities.
- Play your strength and fill your gaps.
- Will draw in the group energy and motivation and finally …
You will constitute your project group with 2 or 3 other friends who, like you, will have experienced the same emotions, the same laughter, the same challenges.
What specificities for the courses?
In the UBISTeam BBA, no lecture.
Our theoretical courses and validation of the knowledge are realized Online (with Patten University) with the support of a Tutor of the pedagogical team which follows you throughout the year.
Materials such as marketing, finance or accounting (and others), will no longer be abstract theories.
They will be tools that are directly applicable to your project.
The seminars, UBISTeam Seminars, allow you to put the theoretical contributions directly into your Group Project.
Our teachers are professionals who will help you use your knowledge in the specific context of your project …. they will give you their know-how, will assist you, and will be at your disposal as coaches and consultants.
They will share their vision and tell you their story, their most successful successes, and sometimes the reasons for their failures.
At UBIS, while attending the UBISTeam BBA, your child is not a passive student attending a lecture, he becomes the knowledgeable dynamic and enthusiastic creator of his professional project. Teachers are often confronted with a disconnection from their students, whereas they think they are adding to the knowledge of their pupils, they often only provide top-down information from which very little is acquired: usually just enough and to pass an exam.
Research shows that students retain only 8% of a teacher’s lessons after a week.
- The students finally have little tolerance for matters that are too complex or boring.
- They content themselves with shallow knowledge rather than delve into detail.
- They do not ask questions and take the confusion or frustration as an encouragement to give up.
While educators urge students to work throughout the year, most just work hard before exams, which seem to become the education’s system main objective.
Principles of best teaching practice include:
- Learning by spacing through time, … throughout the training cycle
- The interweaving of concrete problem-solving exercises and worked solutions
- Combining graphs, visual elements and verbal descriptions,
- The integration of abstract concepts within the concrete cases of identification.
It is now obvious that the best method is to ask students to generate material rather than merely acquiring knowledge to recognize the right answers to a given problem. In addition, if students explain their reasoning behind their answers, they are actively building information acquisition through stories and case studies.
Moreover, it is also proven that teachers must provide feedback – particularly immediate feedback – to a problem being solved.
Despite all that, in the classical education system, students typically pass exams and do not receive feedback until a week or two later.
By that time, most of the subject and the reasoning behind it have been forgotten.
UBIS, understands that computers, used intelligently as content providers and systems of continuous evaluation of acquisition, can provide this absolutely needed instant feedback.
Human teachers must also provide personalized feedback, given that they have time and small groups to work with.
This is why class size in the UBISTeam BBA is limited to 14 students: a UBISTeam
